Your files never leave your device. SqueezePDF compresses PDFs entirely in your browser. There is no upload step, no server-side processing and no storage of your documents — we never see them.

The site is fully static. Once loaded, compression works even if you go offline. Files you drop into the tool are read into your browser's memory, processed there and discarded when you close the tab.

We do not require accounts, do not set advertising cookies and do not sell data. Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent) may be kept by the hosting provider for security and capacity planning.
