1. Acceptance of terms
By using SqueezePDF(the “Service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The service
SqueezePDF is a free tool that compresses PDF files entirely within your web browser. Your files are never uploaded to or stored on our servers — all processing happens on your own device. See our Privacy page for details.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and only with files you have the right to process. You must not use the Service to violate any applicable law or the rights of others, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or overload the Service.
4. Your files and content
You retain all rights to the files you compress. Because processing is entirely local to your browser, we do not receive, access, store, or claim any ownership over your content. You are solely responsible for keeping backups of your original files.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that compression will meet a specific target size or preserve a specific quality. Compression is lossy for images; always review the output before relying on it.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SqueezePDF and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
7. Third-party software
The Service uses open-source software to perform compression in your browser. That software is provided by its respective authors under its own license, and your use of it through the Service is subject to those license terms.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
